Audi EVO CDA3 Setups Join Coach Dave

Coach Dave Academy are proud to release the Audi R8 LMS EVO GT3 updated setup bundles for GTWC/IGTC for V1.8 of Assetto Corsa Competizione.

We are pleased to announce that Audi R8 LMS EVO setups have now been released from the team at Coach Dave Academy.

This week, the GTWC/IGTC setup bundle will be available for purchase, with the BGT bundle coming next week. All available tracks are also now populated on the database for subscribers.

The Audi is a complicated car in V1.8. Tracks where it had good speed before such as Nurburgring, Paul Ricard, Zolder and Imola, it is still very strong, however on other tracks it does appear to struggle a little bit for speed. Gone are the days of it dominating with the 2019 BOP.

However, that does not mean it is not an enjoyable car or does not possess some strengths. It’s traction is still exceptionally good and it’s braking is still very, very good. As always you have to drive around the poor TC system, so we suggest still running 1 where possible and high ABS values stop rear locking (a common issue we found testing).

For those that have driven the car for a long time, you will find a similar setup philosophy is needed as was the case with 1.7. Overall, it is not going to dominate grids in V1.8, however on the right tracks it will still be an exceptionally strong car. You can find out where to purchase the Audi R8 LMS EVO setups below.

How Do I Get The New Setups?

To access the new CDA3 setups that have just been released, all you need to do is to visit the website and select the new CDA3 Audi R8 LMS EVO bundles under the ACC category.

If you’re an existing Audi customer enter the AUDICDA3 coupon code during checkout to save over 50% on your purchase. You must be logged in for the coupon to work.

Alternatively, if you are a subscriber, all the new setups will be uploaded to your download area. As always, the new Audi R8 setups made on V1.8 will have CDA3 in the title to differentiate them from the old and you will just need to search “CDA3 Audi” in the search bar at the top of the download area. If you wish to subscribe to the Coach Dave Academy ACC subscription, click below.

If you have any questions whatsoever about this weeks CDA3 release, check out the Coach Dave Academy Discord channel right here and the team will be able to offer their support as always.
