We are pleased to announce that the Porsche 991.2 GT3 R package has been completed for V1.8 of Assetto Corsa Competizione. This includes both British GT and GTWC CDA3 bundles that are now available to download on the Coach Dave Academy website individually or through the subscription.
Easily the hardest car in the sim to master, the CDA team have been working extremely hard to find a good balance between speed and driveability. We are pleased to report that on the majority of the tracks, the Porsche seems to be quite fast, as it was on V1.7 and those that drive the car regularly will feel just at home on V1.8.
An incredible amount of time was put into testing the setups to ensure the famous Porsche instability was kept to a minimum where possible, to also give new customers a great platform to try and learn the car’s characteristics if they are jumping across to a new challenge on V1.8.
To access the new CDA3 setups that have just been released, all you need to do is to visit the website and select the new CDA3 Porsche bundles under the ACC category.
If you’re an existing Porsche customer enter the PORSCHECDA3 coupon code during checkout to save over 50% on your purchase. You must be logged in for the coupon to work.
If you have any questions whatsoever about the Porsche CDA3 release, check out the Coach Dave Academy Discord channel right here and the team will be able to offer their support as always.
Alternatively, if you are a subscriber, all the new setups will be uploaded to your download area. As always, the new Porsche GT3R GT3 setups made on V1.8 will have CDA3 in the title to differentiate them from the old and you will just need to search “CDA3 Porsche” in the search bar at the top of the download area.
