Gran Turismo 7 has introduced a new type of seasonal event to keep solo campaign players on their toes: Weekly Challenges. Let’s dive into what they are and what benefits they give.
What Are Weekly Challenges
The Weekly Challenge, as the name indicates, changes every week and is found in the World Circuit menu. The game picks a series of 5 specific races from the solo campaign you need to complete by finishing on the podium to unlock ticket rewards.
4 of them are just regular races you might have already done, but you’ll need to race them again during the week. The most interesting part is the fifth race though.
Gran Turismo Weekly Special Events
Each week features a new, time-limited, special event race. These races always feature either unique tuned cars and/or replica liveries, and are often under specific regulations, sometimes replicating specifications of race classes that are not natively implemented in the game, such as early 90s DTM.
So even if you are not interested in the rest of the challenge, the special event race is generally worth looking at, even if only for the novelty effect and the opportunity to snap cool race photos.

Weekly Rewards
On top of the regular payouts for the races themselves, you will earn additional rewards for completing 1, 3 and 5 races from the Weekly Challenge. The rewards may vary, but the maximum reward will always be a max-level ticket, which can give you up to 1 million credits or a high-value car.
That said, the Weekly Challenge takes a fair bit of time to complete, and the level 1 and 2 rewards are usually not that great, and the level 3 reward relies on luck to some degree. If your goal is to get a lot of credits quickly, there are better ways to do it, unless you’re in the earlier stages of your campaign.
