Free – Minor Physics Updates
It is quite common that we revisit existing setups and make adjustments based on community feedback. We usually revisit setups around once every 3 months on average.
Setup revisits are improvements and tweaks and we do not charge for these.
Aside from the main tyre model updates that require an additional fee based on the amount of work involved, there are setup revisits that the Coach Dave Academy team completes every quarter roughly.
The main aim of these smaller updates to the setups is to ensure they remain of high quality, amongst the many smaller tweaks and changes that patches implement into the game from Kunos. If you are an existing customer, these periodic changes to the setups will remain free of charge and separate to the big overhauls that require a fee based on the amount of work involved to update them.
Paid – Tire Model Updates
In some instances a game update can affect setups so much that we have to completely redo car setups. This can vary from car to car. In instances where brand new setups are required, we will charge extra for these changes.
Tire updates are the most fundamental changes to a game’s physics. These changes affect almost every element of car setup and can require complete redos.
Tire model updates are such a huge project that we charge for these changes. The price of these changes depend on the scale of the changes.
If you are an existing customer you will always receive a discount for these updates.
With every major version change that implements a new tyre model or changes to the physics engine that require a complete overhaul of existing setups, there will be a small fee charged to customers.
We value all our customers equally, and therefore all existing customers that have supported us on our journey so far will receive a discount on the update fee.Â
Paid – New Content
When Kunos introduce new DLC in the form of new circuits and/or cars, any content produced by the Coach Dave Academy will be additional paid content on the website.
This encapsulates all additional DLC going forwards that introduces new content on top of the base content already in Assetto Corsa Competzione.
