iRacing setups, answered
How do Coach Dave iRacing setups install?
With Delta open, join any iRacing session. Delta detects your car and track and installs the latest week's setups for every matching series, up to eight. In iRacing, open Garage, then My Setups, then the Coach Dave Academy folder, pick a setup and press Open. There's nothing to download or copy into folders.
When are new iRacing setups released?
Every week, in line with the official iRacing schedule and usually before the races start, so you have time to practise. Setups for special events come out a week or two early.
Which iRacing series do you cover?
This season we cover IMSA, the Simucube GT3 series, GT4, GTE Sprint, IMSA Pilot Challenge, Porsche Cup, Super Formula Lights, TCR, Sim-Lab Production, Formula 1600, Advanced Mazda and the Caterham 420R, plus fixed data packs and the major road special events. iRacing Season Content in Delta lists every series, car and week we cover, with our lap times.
Who builds the setups?
Our iRacing team of 15 full-time drivers and engineers, led by Yuri Kasdorp. Every setup is built and tested by drivers with 10k+ iRating, aiming for consistent race pace across a full stint as well as a fast qualifying lap.
Can I keep a setup after the week ends?
Delta removes the setups it installed when you quit Delta or change car or track, then installs them again the next time you join a session. To keep one for good, save a copy under a new name in the iRacing garage.
What else comes with the subscription?
Setups for Le Mans Ultimate, ACC and AC EVO, Auto Insights AI coaching, side-by-side video, data analysis, leaderboards and the Never Lift driving course. You can cancel any time from your account.
