GTE Sprint Series – Major Overhaul for Season 2
This is one of the most exciting developments heading into Season 2. iRacing has delivered a major update to the GTE cars. For drivers who love the raw, characterful feel of GT racing with a little more downforce and drama than a GT3, now is the perfect time to jump into GTE with our setups.
Oriol Domingo has put together baseline setups for all three cars in the series:
- Porsche 991 GT3 RSR GTE
- Chevrolet Corvette C8R GTE
- BMW M8 GTE
With iRacing’s rework breathing new life into these machines, Season 2 could be a breakout season for GTE racing on the service. Keep an eye out for dedicated GTE content from Oriol as he digs into what the update has changed and how to extract the most from each car.
TCR Virtual Challenge – New Audi RS3 Gen2
TCR is another class receiving the Coach Dave attention this season, and we’re delighted to be bringing our coverage in-house for Season 2. iRacing has completely overhauled the TCR class for Season 2, with sweeping changes to car physics and balance – and the headline addition is the brand new Audi RS3 Gen2.
Corentin and Manu will be leading our in-house TCR content, and they are covering:
- Honda Civic Type R
- Brand new Audi RS3 Gen2
If you’re a touring car fan, this is a great time to get involved. The class overhaul means setups from previous seasons won’t carry over effectively, so having a solid baseline from day one will give you a real edge. *If you are wondering why, we dropped the two Hyundais from the roster due to low/next to no usage on Delta.
GT4 Series & IMSA Pilot Challenge
The GT4 class remains one of iRacing’s most accessible and competitive categories, and Corentin Guinez has put in the work to give you a strong GT4 foundation across the grid, with Jurgen Frank coming in hot with the LMP3 setups for the Pilot Challenge.
- Mercedes AMG GT4
- Porsche Cayman GT4
- BMW M4 G82 GT4
- Ford Mustang GT4
- Ligier LMP3
Also, for IMSA Pilot Challenge specifically, Corentin has dedicated setups for the Mercedes AMG GT4, Porsche Cayman GT4, and BMW M4 G82 GT4 – so you’ll be set up correctly for that specific series’ balance of performance.
- Sports, Formula & Oval iRacing Setups
- Race Telemetry - Brake, Throttle & Racing Lines
- Corner by Corner AI Coaching To Gain Seconds
- Challenge Racers on the Delta Leaderboards
Porsche Cup – The New 992.2
Gareth Higgins returns with setups for the brand new Porsche 992 Cup (992.2) – one of the most anticipated new cars of the season. If you’re competing in the Porsche Cup series, Gareth’s setup is your starting point to success.

A New Approach to Weekly Video Content
Season 2 also marks an exciting change in how we bring you video content on iRacing.
Previously, Coach Dave Academy focused on three main series and produced weekly lap guides following the season calendar. That approach worked well, but we’ve been paying close attention to what you’ve been telling us – and the response to our deep dive and informative video content over on LMU has been outstanding.
So we’re bringing that same approach to iRacing. Every Saturday, we’ll be dropping a brand new feature video on our dedicated iRacing YouTube channel, packed with:
- In-depth informative breakdowns
- Tips and tricks covering all areas of iRacing
- Special Event Guides
Whether you’re looking to improve your racecraft, understand setup fundamentals, or prepare for one of iRacing’s marquee events, our new videos will have something for every level of driver. It’s a bigger, broader, and more useful format, and we can’t wait to get started.
