As the official setup partner for Le Mans Ultimate, you can be sure Coach Dave Academy has been hard at work, ready to bring you brand-new and updated setups ahead of this new DLC launch, and that’s what we are doing.
Not only do we have incredible new setups for the brand-new Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3, Ford Mustang GT3 and Porsche 911 GT3 R, but we have updated setups for the entire roster to include the Ferrari 296 GT3, Corvette Z06 GT3.R, BMW M4 GT3 and McLaren 720s GT3 Evo.
Bringing to life every single LMGT3 machine in the game right now with all new setup variations, telemetry data and hot laps for all existing and new variations of circuit on the new tyre model.
This latest update brings a brand new tyre model over which Mr David Perel has had influence. You’ll now experience a more refined tyre model that’s more true to the real-life model in the World Endurance Championship. It might take some time to adjust to how these cars handle, especially if you don’t make the necessary setup adjustments.
Whilst reworking and producing new setups on this brand-new tyre model, the team have been able to create setups for all of the brand-new circuit variations that Le Mans Ultimate are releasing in this update as well. It’s been all systems go for the team to get this over the line for you.
As part of each LMGT3 setup bundle, you’ll get a pro race setup, a safe race setup and a qualifying setup to use. You’ll also receive telemetry data for you to study the setups to see how these new setups behave and what you have to do to maximise your speed, and finally, you’ll get the YouTube hot laps at every single circuit to accompany you.
Remember, these setups will auto-install for you when using Delta and LMU together, so you can load into any circuit combination and have the confidence you are hitting the race track with the correct setup needed to maximise your performances.
With the new update to Le Mans Ultimate, our brand-new setups get a new naming convention and setup version. So gone are the CDA 01 versions of setups, and introduced are the CDA 02 versions, which will be the new versions present in Delta, these are optimised for the new tyre model. As for the new naming conventions, here is a table showing you the following;
Car: | Naming Convention: |
Aston Martin | AMV8 |
Ford Mustang | STANG |
Porsche 911 | 992GT3R |
Track: | Naming Convention: |
Fuji – No Chicane | FUJI NC |

Alongside the release of our professional setups, built for ultimate speed in Le Mans Ultimate, you can also discover the reworked and refreshed default setups that are built into the setup menu of the game for free.
These are of course, slightly slower than our professional counterparts, but they are an improvement over the base default setups produced by Le Mans Ultimate themselves. You don’t get to choose between a pro, safe or qualifying setup either, unfortunately. Just one version of the setup for all scenarios.
It’s worth you using Coach Dave Delta to actually see the differences between the default setups and the pro setups using the telemetry data available. We know once you are comfortable using the defaults you won’t look back after using our pro setups.
