Coach Dave Delta x EDGE: A New GT7 Partnership

Discover the new integration between Digit Racing EDGE and Coach Dave Delta.

Over the past few months, we’ve worked hard to connect DELTA and EDGE. This integration brings both platforms together, making it easier for you to use Coach Dave Delta while accessing key data directly from your EDGE account, perfect for all for Gran Turismo players.

The goal is simple: help you see exactly where mistakes are happening and how to improve your pace, with even more information at your fingertips. Now, we’re excited to officially announce the collaboration between us.

It’s time to learn what EDGE is all about, how to connect your Delta account and use telemetry data to analyse mistakes, compare with top drivers, and improve lap times in Gran Turismo 7 like never before.

What is EDGE?

EDGE is a dynamic platform dedicated to the Gran Turismo sim racing community, founded by Mihael Matika, aka DG_Digit – a pro Gran Turismo driver. As a hub for finding, sharing, and creating content, EDGE focuses on all aspects of Gran Turismo, with a particular emphasis on online racing. However, the general information and resources available can be applied across all Gran Turismo series.

The core idea behind EDGE was to create a user-friendly platform where everyone can share setups, exchange ideas, and enhance their sim racing experience. Whether you are a beginner or a pro, EDGE is designed to support and grow the Gran Turismo community.

In addition to being a repository of timing data and setups, EDGE provides up-to-date news about the Gran Turismo series and the broader world of sim racing. We also keep our community informed with the latest hardware reviews, ensuring you have the best tools and knowledge:

Detailed Event statistics

To support that mission, EDGE tracks all online events and every lap time recorded in the game. Their goal is to become the most comprehensive, data-driven platform in the Gran Turismo community, which aligns with Coach Dave Deltas mission for GT7 as well.

On EDGE, you’ll find up-to-date listings of daily races, time trials, and special events. You can also share your feedback through their upvote and downvote system, allowing the community to highlight the most engaging and enjoyable events, based on real player sentiment, not assumptions.

Their Point System

EDGE have created a complete player base, featuring every competitor who has set a time in the game. Using this, they’ve developed their own scoring system focused exclusively on time trials, not race results, to objectively determine who the fastest drivers in the world truly are.

To ensure fairness, the system also penalises for unclean driving, reducing scores where necessary. It’s a complex system, but one that accurately reflects true performance in time trial conditions.

Features

In the “Setups” section, players can upload and browse car setups used in daily races. While this feature is still growing, it’s an excellent place to contribute your own tuning preferences or discover setups shared by others in the community.

They also provide coverage of the latest Gran Turismo activity through their news section, including updates on in-game features, product reviews, tuning guides, and practical tips on what settings work and what don’t.

Community Forum

Recently, EDGE launched a community forum where players can discuss any topic related to the game. Whether it’s feedback on a specific daily race, strategies for upcoming time trials, or broader discussions, the forum is your space to connect and contribute.

Community Events

In addition, they’ve introduced community events. Players can now organise their own competitions, create custom tournaments, and invite others to participate, making EDGE a true hub for grassroots racing and collaboration.

In short, EDGE brings together everything you need: data, insights, setups, events, discussions, and more, all in one place. Now a partner of Delta for GT7, the two together provide the ultimate GT7 space.

How to Connect DELTA and EDGE

So, how do you connect your Delta account to your Edge account? The process is quick and straightforward:

You’ll find all the instructions in this link.

Why does this matter? Because the game extracts your telemetry data and Delta turns that data into clear, actionable insights.

You’ll be able to see your throttle and brake inputs, compare them to the pros, and understand exactly what needs to be done to improve. No more guesswork, just precise feedback to help you get faster.

We really hope this helps you find even more time around the track. If you have any questions, EDGE have opened a forum thread where you can easily share any issues you’re facing, or ask in the Coach Dave Discord for help with connecting your accounts.
