We are pleased to announce that Continental GT3 setups have now been released from the team at Coach Dave Academy.
This week, BOTH the GTWC and BGT setup bundles will be available for purchase, All available tracks are also now populated on the database for subscribers for all 19 circuits in Assetto Corsa Competizione.
The Continental was an incredible race car on 1.7. Not only did it have few weak tracks, it dominated the tight and twisty EU D circuits like Zolder and Misano. It also had a very, very strong race pace that few cars could match thanks to it’s fantastic tyre life and fairly frugal fuel economy. For V1.8, it still possesses those same characteristics, but getting that inherent stability back required a slightly different setup approach.
On top of that, the car is still dynamite on a lot of tracks it was before such as Oulton Park, Zandvoort and Zolder. Expect it to be an extremely popular choice for Endurance championships or sprint series that feature a lot of EU D tracks or circuits like Silverstone and IGTC tracks.
HOW DO I GET THE NEW SETUPS?
To access the new CDA3 setups that have just been released, all you need to do is to visit the website and select the new CDA3 Continental GT3 bundles under the ACC category.
If you’re an existing Continental GT3 customer enter the “CONTICDA3” coupon code during checkout to save over 50% on your purchase. You must be logged in for the coupon to work.
Alternatively, if you are a subscriber, all the new setups will be uploaded to your download area. As always, the new Continental setups made on V1.8 will have CDA3 in the title to differentiate them from the old and you will just need to search “CDA3 Continental GT3” in the search bar at the top of the download area. If you have any questions whatsoever about this week’s CDA3 release, check out the Coach Dave Academy Discord channel right here and the team will be able to offer their support as always.
