We have some important news to share with our iRacing customers ahead of Season 2 kicking off this coming Tuesday! Coach Dave Academy is moving to a subscription-only model for iRacing setups and removing the option to buy iRacing bundles on the website.
Why?
This is a decision that we have thought long and hard about, but a crucial bit of information presented itself we simply could not ignore. Over 85% of our iRacing customer base are on our subscription plan, yes that much, which has prompted us to focus all of our efforts on the subscription product and Delta.
Customer value and engagement is at the forefront of Coach Dave. With this move, we are working on a number of new subscription features that subscribers will get free access to, so stay tuned for more information over the next few weeks.
Existing bundle owners will not lose access to what they’ve already purchased. However, in the future, the only purchase option for iRacing setups will be our subscription product. From 2023 Season 2 onwards, you will only be able to access iRacing setups through Delta.
What Next?
We understand that this may cause some inconvenience for bundle customers, but there are some practical server issues we experience when managing bundles which is making it a challenging situation for some. Our goal is to provide the best possible experience for our customers, and we believe that focusing on the subscription product is the best way to achieve this by then perfecting the Delta offering.
