Lexus CDA3 Setups Arrive For V1.8

Coach Dave Academy are proud to release the Lexus RC F GT3 updated setup bundles for GTWC and BGT for V1.8 of Assetto Corsa Competizione.

We are pleased to announce that Lexus RCF GT3 setups have now been released from the team at Coach Dave Academy.

This week, BOTH the GTWC and BGT setup bundles will be available for purchase, All available tracks are also now populated on the database for subscribers for all 19 circuits in Assetto Corsa Competizione.

The Lexus in V1.7 was a tricky car to both setup and drive. Whilst it had its strong circuits, it suffered on the majority of tracks and once its strong rain pace was taken away in a hotfix it became very unpopular. For V1.8 however, integral bumpsteer changes to the rear of the car in the physics department has meant the car is much more enjoyable to drive.

Whilst still quite fuel intensive, the car has extremely good straight line speed at a lot of circuits including the likes of Paul Ricard, Barcelona and Bathurst. This makes it an excellent car in traffic or in a close pack, as not only does it make it tricky for others to overtake you, it also gives you an extremely strong weapon in overtaking yourself.

Whilst it is not the outright fastest car anywhere, it retains its status as a car that is a solid choice at whatever track you decide to race at.

HOW DO I GET THE NEW SETUPS?

To access the new CDA3 setups that have just been released, all you need to do is to visit the website and select the new Lexus RC F GT3 bundles under the ACC category.

If you’re an existing Lexus GT3 customer enter the “LEXUSCDA3” coupon code during checkout to save over 50% on your purchase. You must be logged in for the coupon to work.

Alternatively, if you are a subscriber, all the new setups will be uploaded to your download area. As always, the new RC F setups made on V1.8 will have CDA3 in the title to differentiate them from the old and you will just need to search “CDA3 Lexus GT3” in the search bar at the top of the download area. If you wish to subscribe to the Coach Dave Academy ACC subscription, click below.

If you have any questions whatsoever about this week’s CDA3 release, check out the Coach Dave Academy Discord channel right here and the team will be able to offer their support as always.
