If you are a regular customer of Coach Dave Academy and a player of Le Mans Ultimate you’ll have seen our default setups are implemented into the game. These default setups are an improvement on the base game defaults with a one size fit all approach so you can safely complete qualifying and the race, but they were also meant as a taster for you all until we began to roll out something far greater. Our professional Le Mans Ultimate setups.
Today we begin this process with a complete content drop for the Ferrari 488 GTE EVO at every single track currently in the sim and 5 circuits for the Chevrolet Corvette C8.R. These new setups will help you transform your racing experience on the platform and give you far greater scope for victory in all aspects of your racing. In some cases they are almost 3 seconds faster!
The Coach Dave Academy Treatment
We will be giving Le Mans Ultimate the full Coach Dave Academy treatment just like we have with titles before, namely ACC and iRacing. This means whenever we create a professional setup for a car you will receive three different setups with a plethora of data to accompany:
- A qualifying setup – minimum fuel loads, maximum attack, ultimate one lap pace
- A race fast setup – our fastest race setups that will put you on the limit of the car for pure pace
- A race safe setup – a stable setup for the race that compromises a little on pace
- A hot lap video using the qualifying setup to show you how fast it can be
- A reference lap to study on Delta to show you how to be just as fast with the setup
Handy Information For You To Know
Before we jump into how fast these new setups really are, there is some information that is of vital importance that you need to know about. It’s regarding how these setups have been created and it’s what will make all the difference for you when using them in online competitions.
As you know, we have a fantastic relationship with LMU, hence our default setups already being in the game, and because of this we have worked closely with the LMU dev team to understand how they create races for their online daily racing and online competitions.
From this we have been able to determine Le Man Ultimates official online session settings used to build our setups efficiently and properly, to benefit you in every session you enter. This means track surface presets, air temps, track temps, time of day and weather data have all been collected and used so the setup you get is the best for your online racing.
