If you are a regular customer of Coach Dave Academy and a player of Le Mans Ultimate you’ll have seen our default setups are implemented into the game for free. These default setups are an improvement on the base game defaults with a one size fit all approach so you can safely complete qualifying and the race, but they were also meant as a taster for you until we began rolling out something far greater. Our professional Le Mans Ultimate setups.
We now deliver on that with our top-tier professional setups that have been built from the ground up, with an all new setup philosophy, created by true pro drivers who understand the Le Mans Ultimate physics the best.
A Special Relationship With LMU
Before we jump into how fast these new setups really are and what they entail, there is some information that is of vital importance and you need to know about it. It’s regarding how these setups have been created and it’s what will make all the difference for you when using them in online competitions. Take it from us they will put you in the best position to win!
We have a fantastic relationship with Le Mans Ultimate and Coach Dave Academy are the official setup partner of the game. This is why we have been able to bring a sim racing first to the table with our default setups being installed into the game. Our partnership also means we work closely with the LMU dev team to understand how they create races for their online daily racing and online competitions.
From this we have been able to determine Le Man Ultimates official online session settings used to build our setups efficiently and properly, to benefit you in every session you enter. This means track surface presets, air temps, track temps, time of day and weather data have all been collected and used making our setups the ultimate setups for you.
Benefit From The Coach Dave Academy Treatment
We will be giving Le Mans Ultimate the full Coach Dave Academy treatment just like we have with titles before, namely ACC and iRacing. This means whenever we create a professional setup for a car you will receive three different setups with a plethora of data to accompany:
- A qualifying setup
- A race fast setup
- A race safe setup
- A hot lap video on YouTube
- Reference lap data to study on Delta
- Auto-install feature
If you factor in the CDA default setups that you can use for free within the game as well, we now give you 4 different options for your setup choices. Now the CDA defaults might be 2-3 seconds slower per lap compared to the top-tier professional setups, but they are a good base to start learning the game before you get more comfortable.
With the professional setups, they are built on raw pace, to give you the ultimate lap times you could possibly achieve, accompanied with a YouTube video to see how they achieved those times and then the reference lap data within Delta for you to study so you can hit those lap times yourself. Oh and by the way, these setups get the auto install treatment just like our setups on ACC and iRacing, removing a lot of the hassle and allowing you to focus on your racing.
See the racing lines, the throttle inputs, the braking points, the steering needed, the correct gears used and more with Delta. It’s an invaluable tool you can’t live without if you want to be ultra competitive on Le Mans Ultimate.
Auto-Install With Delta
As you would have seen above, we have been able to bring our auto-install feature to Le Mans Ultimate. This means not only do you get our ultimate setups, but they are auto-installed for you whenever you enter a session on the game.
As with ACC and iRacing, our Delta app is waiting and ready to detect your LMU session as long as you have the app open. Here’s how it works:
- Open the Delta app
- Join your LMU session
- Select the car setup menu
- Choose the custom setup option
- Browse all of our setups auto-installed and ready to use
- Hit the track with our ultimate setups
