Racelab is without doubt one of the most polished sim racing apps available today. The app is packed with awesome overlay widgets that greatly improve on what iRacing offers in game. With their recent UI improvements they are not just useful but also really well designed. Obviously I am a fan.
Recently they launched a brand new feature that introduces the ability for drivers to browse and download setups from multiple setup shops. When I saw their announcement I immediately reached out to discuss how we could get Coach Dave iRacing setups on there.
We quickly came to agreement whereby we will list some of our setups on the app for free each week. Which setups? Well, the ones that have a weekly lap guide.
By doing so, you are able to test our work before committing to our iRacing Setup Subscription.
Please note however that this change has also meant that we are retiring a 7-day free trial for our iRacing subscription. I came to realise that the offer was not well designed as it left us open to exploits of users finding ways to roll over their free trial continuously.
So the solution is to distribute some of our setups for free on Racelab, which I think is a win for everyone.
