Week 2 of Season 1 2022 has now been released on Coach Dave Academy
For this week, Both IMSA and the Ferrari Fixed Series visit Laguna Seca. A difficult track that is both narrow and possesses very little high speed corners, I expect the Ferrari fixed drivers to have a much more drama free race than those in the IMSA multi class field.
VRS meanwhile visits Zandvoort. A track that has such a fantastic flow, it is definitely a great track to hot lap on. However racing is difficult due to its narrow nature and so passing may be difficult to execute cleanly. The left hand side tyres also take a beating round here and so it may come down to tyre degradation in races to determine who comes out on top.
Elsewhere, Porsche Cup and Fixed visits Okayama. A mixture of high speed and low speed gives the Porsche Cup a nice challenge here. The hairpin at the end of the back straight is the optimum passing place on the track and tricky corners like the last turn will punish you if you take liberties with it. Cup drivers are going to have a blast!
