Season 4 of 2022 is here at Coach Dave Academy. We firstly want to thank everyone for their support over the past few months. With that in mind, CDA is pleased to announce that we will continue to do a full iRacing programme for the upcoming season including a full broadcast and lap guide schedule.
So what exactly can you expect as a Coach Dave Academy customer for season 4?
Lap Guides
Like last season we will continue to do a full comprehensive lap guide schedule. For this season however we have slightly tweaked the series we will be covering. Drilling into the statistics of the previous videos has given us a great insight into what you want to watch.
After doing that analysis and seeing the strengths of our lap guide coaches, we are going to be sticking to the following series throughout S4:
- Falken GT4 Series
- VRS and IMSA GT3
- Porsche Cup Series
- Global Mazda MX-5 Cup
- Formula 4
- Special Events – Suzuka 10 hours and Petit Le Mans
Your coaches covering these series throughout the season are as follows:

As you can see, the primary lap guide targets have not changed, with our primary focuses on Porsche Cup, GT3 and GT4. However, in a small change for this season, we wanted to help the newcomers of iRacing who are getting up to speed in the Mazda Series as well as the Formula 4.
That’s why we will be doing at least 6 lap guides of the 12 week season dedicated to both cars to help those struggling to come to terms with iRacing, get up to speed. You can see our full lap guide schedule below:

Like Season 3, our setup schedule will not really change for Season 4 in terms of series and cars we are producing. The two stand out changes are the swapping out of the Dallara F3 for the Formula 4, and the Porsche GT3R in VRS for the Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO.
