Updating Existing Setups and Announcing a new Setup Subscription for ACC

Announcing free setup updates to existing setups as well as a brand new setup subscription service for ACC.

Last week we announced that we would be building new setups from the ground up that would be charged for. This created a lot of confusion and we got a ton of feedback about our approach.

First of all, I am sorry about the confusion, I am sorry to those of you who got upset by the announcement. Today I would like to announce some changes we have made about how we will proceed with our setups going forward that I hope will please most of you.

Free Updates to Existing Setups

For our existing setups, I am dedicating a full time driver, updating specific track and car combinations, based on customer feedback and current philosophies to make them more drivable. We have done enough testing now to determine that most of our current setups are still very good – however some need tweaks and we will work on them.

For example, brake ducts will be opened where necessary to manage tire temps, and the aero balance will be tweaked based on driver feedback (Porsche at Paul Ricard for example? Gonna fix that).

These updates will be referred to as ‘R03’ and ‘Q03’ in the file names, they will be added to all existing customer bundles for free and we will continue maintaining the setups into the future.

New Coach Dave Setups and Setup Subscription

We are embarking on a brand new setup philosophy, CDA3, which will be developed from the ground up, and included in a new ACC Setup Subscription for $9.99 per month.

These setups will also be offered as bundles at our regular pricing, so if you don’t like subscriptions but still want to purchase the new setups, you can still do so as normal. The difference now is that you will be given the option between bundles or a subscription.

Our Subscription option will have features like:

Early access to new setups – you won’t have to wait until the whole bundle is ready

  • Access to all 500+ dry setups
  • Access to all wet setups
  • Access to all track maps
  • Unlimited access to future releases
  • Subscriber only Coach Dave Events
  • Subscriber only offers and discounts

The ACC subscription launches today and is only $9.99 per month. It’s a steal, almost literally, and it will be perfectly suited to our die-hard drivers who use different cars in ACC.

Discounts for Existing Customers

If you are an existing bundle owner and want to upgrade to the new CDA3 bundles we will offer you a 50% discount when the car bundle is launched.

For example if you currently own the CDA2 Ferrari Evo setups and want to upgrade to CDA3, we will email you a 50% coupon that can be used to upgrade to the new setups when we release them.

This coupon will work for tracks and bundles only, we cannot offer a discount on our new subscription plan.

Once again I am sorry for last weeks confusion, but thank you for being patient with us!

If you buy something from a Coach Dave link, we may earn a commission.
