Week 9 Setup And Lap Guide Schedule – S2/22

Week 9 of Season 2 arrives today. Content lands from Coach Dave Academy, with setups and data now available for IMSA, VRS, Michelin Pilot Challenge and the Porsche Cup Series as well as dedicated track guides.

Week 9 of Season 2 has been released from Coach Dave Academy.

Week 9 brings some old school favourite tracks together with some challenging combinations to try and conquer.

Brands Hatch for VRS Sprint/Endurance brings some challenges when it comes to overtaking and having a clean race. Thankfully, Yuri Kasdorp is back to bring you a VRS Brands Hatch Lap Guide, where he shows you how to best approach the racing this week and getting those consistent results.

It is almost tradition that the Porsche Cups visit Spa each season. A track that brings its own unique difficulty having to run lower downforce, drivers are forced to drive around the rear tyres and be as smooth as possible. Suellio Almeida is on hand this week as our resident Porsche Cup expert to provide yet another excellent lap guide to show you round this great circuit and what to look out for.

Meanwhile, both IMSA and Michelin Pilot Challenge visit Mid Ohio for some fast and frantic action. For this week, the series that we are focusing on for the lap guide is the Michelin Pilot Challenge and thankfully Corentin Guinez is on hand to provide the expert breakdown and how to hustle a TCR around this fantastic race track properly.

What’s fully in store for this week? Let’s find out below:

Understanding Pace Notes In Assetto Corsa Rally
There’s a saying in rallying: that circuit racers see the same corner a thousand times, but rally racers see a thousand corners once. That’s a huge part of why, whilst most race cars will only have a seat for a driver, a rally car will have a second seat for your co-driver. This article will look deeper into what the person sat alongside you is doing, why they’re doing it, and how to make the most out of your pace notes in Assetto Corsa Rally. What is a Co-Driver? A co-driver, or a co-pilot in some places in the world, is typically your right-hand man (or woman) – or left-hand if your car is right-hand-drive. They’re sat alongside you, notebook in hand, telling you exactly what to expect from the next corners and any hazards you may expect to find along the way. Over time, the co-driver’s role has evolved…
