iRacing has the largest selection of laser-scanned tracks of any racing sim on the market, making it one of the leading platforms both for esports and for real-life drivers looking to learn a track before they race there in person.
iRacing has over 100 tracks, most of which having several variations. With almost any famous track you can think of, as well as some lesser-known tracks (especially in the USA, where iRacing is based), iRacing is likely going to be your go-to simulator if you’re looking for a huge variety of accurate laser-scanned tracks. Tech Tracks
Tech tracks are tracks that are available for purchase but are not complete. Textures are missing, and certain features like buildings may be incomplete or not there altogether. Currently, iRacing only has one tech track:
- New Jersey Motorsports Park
Retired Circuits
Sometimes, there are circuits that are removed from the iRacing service. Most of these happened when the current version was released for the circuit, with the older version being too difficult to maintain as iRacing gets newer technology. The tracks removed from the service are:
- Barber Motorsports Park (2008)
- Charlotte Motor Speedway (2018)
- [Legacy] Charlotte Motor Speedway (2008)
- Lime Rock Park (2018)
- [Legacy] Lime Rock Park (2008)
- Sonoma Raceway (2011)
- [Legacy] Sonoma Raceway (2008)
Needless to say, that’s a lot of tracks. And as the years go on, so does the track list. Thanks to iRacing’s Development Updates and the release of titles such as iRacing Arcade, we can speculate about which tracks may be soon to come from Circuit Paul Ricard to the Bahrain International Circuit.
To learn about what cars you can take to these amazing tracks, check out our Complete iRacing Car List, and if you want to get the most out of your car, Coach Dave Academy has you covered with Delta.
