We are back with our third round of updates for Delta this week, which sees new features, improvements and fixes throughout Delta across several sims.
Delta now has answers to your questions like: Which setup did you run for that stint? What tyre compounds? How much tread did you have left when you pitted?
If you’ve ever tried to answer those from memory after a long session, you know how quickly it blurs. This update puts the answers in Delta, next to your laps, so you can see what you drove with and what it did to your pace.
Fixed vs Open Setups Sorted
Each stint in the Timing screen now shows the setup it used. If a stint was run on a fixed setup, it gets a padlock, so you can tell at a glance whether you were on your own tune or the fixed series setup. If it was an open setup, the padlock unlocks, and the setup you used is visible next to it.
Run a few different setups in one session, and you no longer have to guess which stint was which. It’s available now for Le Mans Ultimate and iRacing.
Tyre Compounds Now Visible
Every stint now has its own tyre compound widget, so you can see what you were using without digging through the session. If the tyres on the car were different compounds, the widget shows Mixed.
This is great when you are testing which tyres are best to use in different scenarios, like a wet track, a drying track, a qualifying lap, or a long stint.
It’s available for Le Mans Ultimate, iRacing, Assetto Corsa EVO and ACC.
Tyre Wear Now Recorded
In Le Mans Ultimate, the new Tyre Wear graphs in the data view show the percentage left on each wheel along a lap. You can see how quickly each corner of the car is wearing, and where on the lap the tyres are taking the beating. The tyre widget also shows the tread used in each stint.
In iRacing, each stint now shows the tread used, taken from the pit box measurements. iRacing doesn’t measure the tyres during a lap, so there are no wear graphs for it. You get the stint-by-stint picture instead.
Put it next to your pace, and you can see whether a stint fell away because of the tyres or because of the driving, helping you make adjustments for that all-important race day or next stint in the car.
Setup IQ, AI Coaching, Telemetry Data, Leaderboards, Never Lift and Video Analysis - all in Delta for Le Mans Ultimate, iRacing, ACC and AC Evo. Everything you need to win and get faster as a driver in one subscription.
Keeping Your Setups Installed
There’s a new Keep setups installed on PC toggle switch in the settings menu. Switch it on, and the setups Delta installs stay in your game folders after the session instead of disappearing after Delta is closed. That means the setup you were using is still there next time you load up the game, whether or not Delta is running. This persistence resets each time you restart Delta.
This was a big one people were asking for!
iRacing Season Content Updates
The iRacing Season Content window now shows the weekly conditions for each week of the season, not just what content is ready to use.
Now you can see what conditions will be like in every series we cover before you commit to a car and a setup for the week, hopefully making it easier to make the right choices for you.
Other Delta Improvements
- iRacing setups: Coach Dave Academy setups for iRacing now go into a Current Season folder and an Archive folder. The catalogue shows the current season by default, with a View archive button for earlier seasons.
- ACC temperatures: when the temperatures change, the new install replaces the setups for the earlier temperatures. This is part of setup persistence.
- GT7 through SimHub: you can now set a custom IP address or port so Delta reads GT7 telemetry through SimHub, using packet A or C. Test connection checks that your custom setup is working.
- Smoother video capture: video capture is more reliable and uses less GPU. Delta now finishes the video when you return to the garage or the session ends, so the game doesn’t stall at pit entry.
- Easier sign-in: if Delta starts in the tray and you’re not signed in, it now opens the sign-in window for you.
- New iRacing track maps: Road America 2026, in both the Full and Bend layouts.
Other Delta Fixes
- AC EVO: Delta now records the first flying lap after an early return to the garage.
- AC EVO: Delta uploads the video of your fastest valid lap, and no longer pairs a video with the wrong lap.
- LMU: laps on an “Unknown” track or car stay in your sessions, but they no longer appear on the leaderboards or in the stats.
- Pro board: when autoload opens the pro board, it now shows the reference and all the pro laps by default.
- Leaderboards: changing the session type now keeps your record, rank and insights.
Try Everything New in Delta Today
The update is live in Delta right now. Open a recent session in Timing and look at your stints, or head out on track for a longer run and see how your tyres hold up. We really love the new tyre widgets and we think you will too.
As always, a lot of these quality-of-life improvements came from your feedback, so keep it coming. I promise we look at every single bit of feedback!
