You talked, we listened. Coach Dave Academy enters the Meta-verse.
Thatโs right, you read that correctly, for the first time ever we move away from our conventional methods of creating setups to cater for as many drivers as possible.
Today we launch Esports-ready meta setups that are built entirely for ultimate lap times. Not for the faint-hearted, but for the bold and brave who like to live on the edge.
Not only are they meta, but they are created in conjunction with the custom LFM BOP so you can tackle all of your daily racing on Low Fuel Motorsport with the confidence that you are using the fastest setups ever made at Coach Dave Academy.
Grab the first 4 cars we begin with. They are ready right now on Delta.
What Series Are We Supporting?
The supported cars we will be doing setups for the following LFM series:
- Coach Dave GT3 Sprint Series
- SimRace Shop GT3 Series
This means both the 25 minute and 45 minute daily sprint races will be supported with the new setups. Also included with the SimRace Shop setups for the longer 45 minute races will be a predefined pit strategy already in place.
The setups for the supported cars will be released each week as we follow the LFM calendars for both series. Every Tuesday, Delta will receive the new setups. Given the BOP is confirmed every Monday, it gives the team a chance to create the setups that afternoon ready for the following day.
What Do I Receive With These New Setups?
These new LFM setups will be created with the custom BOP applied. Trending away from what we normally do, these setups will also be created with all the meta trends applied, which means the setups will be both aggressive and tricky to drive. We are gunning for overall lap time and therefore offer a completely different dynamic to the other CDA4 setups we already offer to customers.
Included then for each series are as follows:
- 1 Qualifying Setup
- 1 Race Setup
- Motec data of the fastest lap
- Onboard lap posted on YouTube
- Popometer data package for the fastest lap
Coach Dave GT3 Sprint Series
- Enough fuel for the 25 minute race plus 1 lap
SimRace Shop GT3 Series
- Predefined pit stop strategy for tyre change and a 22 minute stint plus 1 lap
- Enough fuel for a 22 minute initial stint plus 1 lap
Supported Cars and Tracks
For the start of this new experiment, we will be doing setups for the 4 cars that have the highest entry statistics so far for season 12 on LFM. This means we will be doing setups for the following cars:
Cars | Class |
---|---|
Ferrari 296 GT3 | GT3 |
McLaren 720s GT3 EVO | GT3 |
Porsche 992 GT3R | GT3 |
BMW M4 GT3 | GT3 |
These 4 cars make up the highest number of race entries so far this season and they will receive setups for both the Coach Dave Sprint Series and the SimRace Shop series.
Week | Coach Dave Sprint Series | SprintRaceShop GT3 |
---|---|---|
5 | Watkins Glen | Brands Hatch Circuit |
6 | Laguna Seca | Autodromo Nazionale di Monza |
7 | Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari | Mount Panorama Circuit |
8 | Oulton Park | Donington Park |
9 | Zandvoort | Circuit de Paul Ricard |
10 | Circuit de Spa Francorchamps | Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari |
11 | Suzuka Circuit | Zolder |
12 | Kyalami | Circuit de Spa Francorchamps |
What Is The New Naming Convention?
Given these new Meta setups follow a very different philosophy to our existing setups, they will also have a slightly different name in Delta. We will be dropping the version number from the name and the variant. This is because they will be constantly changed and updated based on the LFM calendars and physics updates.
The naming convention example then is as follows:
- CDA M M4 GT3 BAR Q
- CDA M M4 GT3 BAR R
The M stands for โMetaโ, which will allow customers to distinguish it from the normal CDA4 setups. It will look like this in Delta:
