Huracan Bundle Finished – Our GT4 Plan

This week, the Coach Dave team bring you three content releases for CDA4. Lamborghini and McLaren V2 dry setups as well as our GT4 plan of action.

Alongside the two GT3 bundles we have updated this week, in the McLaren 720s EVO and the Lamborghini Huracan EVO 2, we have also finished the last two wet setup bundles for our GT3 roster. Below you can also find our GT4 release plan as work on them starts this week. 

PLEASE NOTE: We are aware that the McLaren 720s EVO received some aero updates in yesterday’s hotfix by Kunos, we will be revisiting the car after the Bentley has been finished to update any setups that were affected by that. 

Release Plan For GT4

This week we will be starting work on the GT4 cars in tandem with the polishing of our last GT3 CDA4 updates. These GT4 updates will follow the same structure as our GT3’s where you will receive: 

  • Fast Race Setup – Fuel for 1 hour. 
  • Safe Race Setup – Fuel for 1 hour. 
  • Qualifying Setup  
  • Fast Race Motec Data
  • Safe Race Motec Data 
  • Qualifying Motec Data 

For our dry bundles, the setups will be created using a multiplayer static server. The air temperature will be 24c and the track temperature will be 33c. 

They will follow the same naming convention as GT3’s, reminder below:

  • CDA4 – V1.9 version number 
  • M4 GT3 – Example car name
  • BAR – Example track abbreviation
  • RS – Safe setup
  • RF – Fast setup
  • Q – Qualifying setup

Setup name examples include:

  • Fast: CDA4 M4 GT3 BAR RF04
  • Safe: CDA4 M4 GT3 BAR RS04
  • Qualifying: CDA4 M4 GT3 BAR Q04

We will be working on the cars in the following order: 

  1. Porsche Cayman
  2. Mercedes AMG
  3. BMW M4
  4. McLaren 570S
  5. Aston Martin Vantage 
  6. Chevrolet Camaro 
  7. Ginetta GT4 
  8. Audi R8 
  9. Alpine A110

McLaren 720s EVO New Setups

Release Notes McLaren 720s EVO V2 Updates

The release note page for the McLaren 720s has been updated to accommodate the cars’ changes so far. As before, all tracks that have a V2 marked have updated release notes. Make sure to read through them right here:

We have worked very hard to ensure the setups cater for as many different driving styles on release, there is going to be an adaption process with your driving compared to V1.8 so the emphasis on driveability is there for the first version of these setups.

Lexus and Nissan Wet Setups Completed 

REMINDER: For CDA4 and V1.9, things have stayed fairly similar and for each car you will get the following as part of your wet setup bundle: 

  • 1x medium wet setup
  • 1x heavy wet setup 
  • 1x medium wet qualifying setup 
  • Data runs for every circuit (ongoing)

As before, these setups are designed to work at every track, something we test when developing them, and will be added to Delta for each of the cars completed so far.

The Conditions we have used to create these wet setups have stayed the same as before: 

  • Air temperature: 18c  
  • Track temperature: 24c 
  • Medium wet rain level: 40% 
  • Heavy wet rain level: 60%
