Introducing Delta 5.4 with a New UI and Smarter AI

Welcome to a cleaner UX, sleeker UI, AI overhauls, better customisation and with bonus AC Evo daily racing setups!

Over time, Delta has evolved into a powerful tool for sim racers. However, with every new feature and update we added to the app, we also reduced the available space in the interface, and it began to feel a little crowded.

We have made several changes to the UI & UX following feedback from the community.

Previously, too many things asked for your attention at once, and too many controls lived at the same level, making it harder for users to focus on one thing. For newer drivers, especially, it could feel like you needed to understand the interface before you could start using Delta properly.

So we stepped back and changed things to make Delta sleeker, smarter and way more refined. This is the best version of Delta ever, and you’ll notice this immediately.

Designed Around You Guys

Delta’s new look has been redesigned around intent, so when you are using it, it’s now more obvious than ever what to focus on.

Instantly, you will see the navigation bar has moved from the left side of the app to the top of the app, and accompanying the nav bar are your new stats. These are just a nice little touch we wanted to add, showing you how you are using Delta, how many laps you’ve done, hours put in, etc., and this is just the first subtle change to make the UX cleaner.

When looking at your sessions, you’ll now see your brand new Panel space. These Panels are clearly defined for you on the right-hand side, put into easy-to-see sections: Analysis, Preparation, Publishing, and Learning.

With these panels, you can navigate through the app like before, accessing all the incredible features of Delta, but your screen is far less cluttered. You’ll also receive notifications through these panels prompting you to check certain areas at certain times when using the app.

One of the most requested changes was to reposition the track map. We’ve now implemented this, with the track map moving to the right-hand side of the canvas, with the option to expand or collapse it as needed.

This change is deliberate. By moving the track map out of the main canvas, we’ve opened up space for what matters most: your data. Laps, traces, and comparisons now sit front and centre, with better clarity and more room to work – while the track map remains instantly accessible when you need it.

Rebuilding Our Canvas

One of the biggest changes in this release is that Delta once again has a clear sense of usability without compromising on any of its features.

When studying data, there is now one canvas. That canvas can be in one mode at a time. Everything else exists to support what you’re doing in that moment – not compete with it.

When you change a view, you’re saying “this is what I’m focused on right now”, and the new panels are contextual and dismissible, there when you need them and gone when you don’t.

That separation sounds subtle, but it fixes a huge amount of visual friction. You no longer have to stop and ask yourself, ‘What do I want to look at first?’ Your eyes know where to go, and your brain can stay focused on the task at hand.

As you see above, it’s simplified, without compromising on data, and when you are using the navigation bar, it highlights what sequence you are in during the lap, for easier understanding and knowing where to improve.

Our AI Overhaul

Under the hood, our AI has had a substantial rework.

Auto Insights are now smarter, faster, and much more deliberate. Instead of flooding you with observations or pointing out everything that went wrong, Delta focuses on what actually matters next.

The AI now prioritises clarity. It now highlights what you’re already doing well, then surfaces one or two meaningful opportunities to improve. That shift alone makes analysis feel calmer, more constructive, and far more confidence-building.

We’ve also changed how reference laps are selected. Rather than dropping you next to an alien pro lap that feels unreachable because it’s 3 seconds faster, Delta now auto-loads achievable reference laps from other users. The comparison makes sense immediately, and improvement feels attainable, because it is.

Auto Insights now highlights every part of your sequence when navigating your lap to help you clearly see what part of the lap you are focusing on: the Entry, Braking, Apex or Exit.

How Delta Feels Now

The end result is that this is the best Delta we’ve ever built, both functionally and visually. Not often do you get amazing UI and UX together, but we’ve taken the first step in doing that by introducing a cleaner canvas and clearly defined panels.

You spend less time thinking about how to use Delta and more time thinking about your driving. Comparisons are clearer. Sessions are cleaner. Auto Insights are better. All of your data is easier to see. All with fewer clicks and less noise.

For new users, the app no longer feels overwhelming on day one. For experienced drivers, the depth is still there – it just reveals itself when you’re ready for it.

Most importantly, you will feel more confident using Delta, making us more confident that you will improve faster than ever before.

AC Evo Daily Racing Setups

Launching at the same time as our brand new Delta rework are our brand new daily racing setups for Assetto Corsa Evo!

We see the thousands of you enjoying AC Evo’s latest update, and we see you all in those daily racing lobbies, but nobody has dedicated setups for these races, until now.

My setup team have pulled it out of the bag again, and with Delta, you now get setups for every combination of daily races in AC Evo, every week, so you can now dominate on another platform with Delta!

Yes, they will auto-install like all the other titles, and you now have full confidence attacking these races head-on. Stay tuned for full support, including telemetry, insights and leaderboards coming at a later date.

Final Thoughts

Delta remains a powerful tool for serious drivers who want to improve. That hasn’t changed.

What has changed is how it looks and behaves.

All in, Delta has less clutter, smarter AI, and it’s easier than ever to understand where you are losing time with a cleaner UI.

Seeing where you need to improve is now clearer than ever.

Plus, we now have AC Evo setups in Delta! Santa really did come early.

Let me know how you find it all.
