We are looking for a Bookkeeper to manage our accounts, and also help the executive team perform effective risk management and help plan the organization’s financial strategy. Following the rapid growth and development of our technology platform, we are looking for an individual to protect the company’s revenues and profits, reporting directly to the CEO. The requirement for this role is as follows:
Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping for the Speed Capital businesses – including Coach Dave and SimGrid
- Keep accurate records for all daily transactions
- Process invoices received from various departments
- Record accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Update internal systems with financial data
- Reconcile bank statements
- Manage and submit UK VAT and EU VAT
- Participate in financial audits in conjunction with the companies Accountants
- Track bank deposits and payments
- Assist with budget preparation for the various departments
- This is a 100% remote job however the timezone requirements are during UK day time working hours
Requirements
- Have to be good with numbers
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper, or relevant role
- Familiar with UK Tax laws
- Experience Xero accounting software
- Basic knowledge of financial regulations
- Knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
- Proficient in the use of Google Suite and financial management software (e.g. Xero)
- Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data
- An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers
- BSc/MA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus
- Knowledge of Motorsport or Esports is a major plus
