The Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo follows a slightly different setup philosophy to its predecessor, thanks in part to its very different aero package and stronger front end. This meant for the Coach Dave Academy 488 Evo bundle we had to approach things with a different view.
Based on the feedback we have received from customers over the past few weeks since release, we thought it would be best to reflect on the original package and see where we could make some improvements. In total, we have adjusted 9 circuits with varying degrees of change, some requiring very small adjustments whereas others a bit more integral.
Overall the car was extremely fast, however, we felt at some circuits there could be improvements in rear stability and behaviour. Mechanical and suspension tweaks along with electronic adjustments to TC and engine maps we felt solved these issues. With that in mind, we are happy to release these new setup variants for the 488 EVO.
The new setups are already available in your account, they’re named Q02 and R02 in the existing Evo download files. View more about our file naming guide here.
Please see below the table depicting the changes at each circuit. Overall, 9 of the 16 circuits were altered, including a major overhaul of Spa.
