What is Delta for Automobilista 2?
Delta is going to be your new home to get faster in AMS2.
You’ll be able to review your history and data of every single lap you do in AMS2. You’ll have telemetry data to study those lap times.
You’ll get Auto Insights from Delta AI to give you hints and tips to instantly improve your pace, which has been revolutionary for all the other Sims compatible with Delta.
You also get Leaderboards, which allow you to bring the fun back into lapping with objectives and achievements to unlock, and it’s all done through a beautiful and functional UI.
Telemetry Data for AMS2
Delta Data and its telemetry tools have been around for a while now, working flawlessly with multiple sim racing titles. This version of the app, however, is our proudest work to date, and it is now compatible with AMS2.
Visualise your driving with our new telemetry graphs and fantastic widgets. Including our awesome timing, driving and data canvases and our interactive track maps.
See your throttle, brake, steering, gears, speed, fuel level, as well as your lap and sector times, all in one place, to help you understand where you’re losing time and where you can improve.
You will also make use of our other widgets that track tyres and temps, fuel consumption, lap times, oversteer and understeer.
You can now analyse all of your own racing data, compare your data with our very own factory drivers to help improve your lap times, and even share your data with other Delta users and friends who also race on AMS2.
Delta AI for AMS2
Delta’s new AI Coaching tool will work seamlessly across all your live sessions and past sessions in AMS2 from your session history in Delta.
As soon as you complete your out-lap in a live session, Auto Insights begins tracking you corner-by-corner, offering real-time feedback while you drive.
Auto Insights work best by completing a few laps, returning to the garage, reviewing the Auto Insights, and then returning to the track to implement the changes needed. You are going to be speeding up your rate of improvement exponentially.
A standout feature of Auto Insights is its structured four-phase approach, which meticulously analyses each key area of your driving:
- Braking – Evaluates how you are braking into every corner and if it is early or late compared to the reference laps
- Entry – Assesses your approach to the corner, checking if you are carrying too much or too little speed
- Apex – Reviews your line through the apex, ensuring you are positioned optimally to be the fastest you can be
- Exit – Measures how effectively you get back on the throttle, balancing power and traction for a strong corner exit
This systematic breakdown ensures that Auto Insights pinpoints exactly where your strengths and weaknesses lie, giving you clear, structured feedback rather than overwhelming you with raw data.
