The Leaderboards have been completely rebuilt in Delta 6.2.1 – a cleaner, simpler design with more data at your fingertips and an easier way to find the laps worth comparing yourself against. This help doc covers the basics: how to open the Leaderboards, pick a lap and start studying the data to get faster.

Opening The Leaderboards
There are two ways to jump into the Leaderboards in Delta:
- From the home screen – click the Leaderboards tab on the top.
- From your Session History – open a session and click on the ranks, which brings the Leaderboards straight up for that lap.
Both get you to the same place, with the same tools – so use whichever fits what you’re doing.
Choosing your Sim, Track and Car
The new Leaderboard home screen layout keeps everything simple. On the left-hand side, choose your:
- Sim
- Track
- Car
Delta then loads every Leaderboard lap you’ve completed in that combination, and if you haven’t completed one, it will load the normal Leaderboards. Pick one of the laps, and you’re ready to start comparing against everyone else on the board.
Your own ranking is highlighted in blue, and official Coach Dave Academy pro times are shown in red, so you can always see at a glance where you sit and where the benchmark is. You can also hover over any lap to see the conditions it was set in – track temp, air temp and fuel level – so you know how comparable it is before you dig in.
Opening and Comparing A Lap
Once you’ve found a lap you want to study, you have two options:
- Open it to load the data immediately and start comparing against your own lap right away.
- Download it to save it for later, so you can come back and compare whenever you like.
Open a lap, and Delta brings up the full timing, driving and data screens – everything you need to see exactly where the time is going. That includes speed traces, throttle and brake inputs, steering, gear selection, RPM and tyre temperatures, all laid against your own lap so the differences are clear.
Auto Insights
You don’t have to pore over every trace yourself. Auto Insights does the heavy lifting, pointing you to the two or three sections where you’ll find the most time, along with the improvement on offer and the leaderboard positions you’d gain by nailing it.
Click any suggestion, and Delta opens a detailed corner-by-corner breakdown – entry, braking, apex and throttle – so you know precisely what to work on next time you’re on track.
Side-by-side Video Analysis
If a lap has a video icon next to it, you can jump straight into side-by-side Video Analysis. You do this by clicking on it from the ranks, which loads the lap alongside your own lap. A pop-up will say side-by-side video is ready, and your video icon will be moving; click that to load so you can watch exactly what a quicker driver is doing with their racing lines, throttle, braking points and more – right next to your data.
That’s Your Leaderboards
That’s the core of it: open the Leaderboards, pick your sim, track and car, choose a lap to compare against, and let the data and Auto Insights show you where the time is. Once you’re comfortable moving around, the new filtering tools (covered in their own guide here) let you drill down even further to find laps that match yours almost exactly – so every comparison counts.
