How To Use Leaderboards in Delta

With Delta 5.0, we’re bringing an entirely new way to get faster, with our deeply integrated AI-powered leaderboards.

Now, get automatic insights into how you can climb the leaderboard, and where on track you can find time against the others in the community, in any game, circuit, car, and session.

This help guide shows you how to make the most of using Leaderboards in Delta.

There are two ways to get instant access to our Leaderboards – via the homescreen Leaderboard tab on the left, or via your session history, where a Leaderboard table is visible in the bottom left.

Leaderboards

From the main Leaderboards tab, you can quickly filter any combination of circuit, car and session in Le Mans Ultimate. Doing this will generate all of the lap times set, alongside where you rank, which will be highlighted in BLUE.

You’ll also find the Coach Dave Academy drivers’ lap times highlighted in RED.

On the right-hand side of the Leaderboards, you will find your records, position, % ranking, and Delta rank. With your sector breakdown, Auto Insights help, and a track map highlighting your worst corners in red.

Studying The Data

You can then either download or open any of the laptimes on the Leaderboard. If you download a lap, it is saved ready for you to compare against at a later date.

If you choose to open a laptime, you’ll be taken to the timing, driving and data screens, with that lap loaded for you to study.

Delta then does all of its marvellous things by giving you all of the data you need to figure out where, when and how to be as fast as the very best on the leaderboards.

If you’ve not used Delta before, that’s checking the speed traces, throttle inputs, brake inputs, steering, gear ratios, RPMs, tyre temps and more.

Auto Insights for Leaderboard Improvements

You can also use Delta’s Auto Insights to focus on specific sections of your lap to improve incrementally, which is how Delta’s AI has been designed to work with the Leaderboards.

It will give you two or three sections to focus on at a time, with tips on braking, speed, throttle etc. Auto Insights will show you how many positions you will climb up the leaderboards by focusing on these, along with lap time improvements to aim for in these sections.

You will open up a new map by clicking on the specific sequence suggested by Auto Insights.

This new map takes you directly to the corner sequence you need to improve on the most via the driving data canvas. Auto Insights then goes into further details with your Entry, Apex, Braking, and Throttle to nail the sequence to move up the leaderboards.

You do this until you’ve improved as much as possible and removed as many of the suggested Auto Insights from Delta.

New Leaderboards Bring Life to Lapping

All of this give you a new lease of life when needing to practice a specific track, because Delta now has something to aim for with its Leaderboards.

Not only do you get to improve, you do it against others, with Auto Insight help, trying to become the fastest person within a specific combination.

See your records improve, your leaderboard position get better, your Delta rank get better, and end up in the top 2% of drivers using Delta.
