How To Access Setups In Delta

Delta is a tool with many features. One of those many features is access to 1000’s of professional setups made for ACC, iRacing and Le Mans Ultimate. Accessing those setups couldn’t be any easier, especially with the Delta auto-install feature.

No more faffing around with downloading, uploading, unpacking and putting it into the right docs folder. You have instant access to setups when Delta detects your sessions.

When you are on the home page of Delta, if you try and load into a session whilst not actually being in a live session in your chosen sim, you will be greeted with a screen like this, which tells you Delta is waiting to detect the session, so it can load the relevant setups for you to use. This is the same for iRacing, ACC and Le Mans Ultimate.

Accessing Your Setups

Once you have joined a session a new screen in Delta will load with all the relevant setups ready for you on the right-hand side of the app, Including a wealth of other information attached to the session you are in. It’s also worth noting that you never need to mess around with tyre pressures as Delta automatically changes them based on the session temps.

From your new screen, you can see what all the setups actually are with a handy drop-down menu displaying the times down on the setup, any setup notes and a hot lap video, even before going back into the game to load them from the garage.

If naming conventions are an issue for you, have a read of this help guide, which will show you what all our naming conventions from all our compatible games mean. It is also a clickable link within Delta beneath all of the setups.

Now Select The Setup From The In-Game Options

Once you are happy with what you see in the Delta app, that you know the app is working and ready for the setup to be installed, you can head back into your chosen sim and select that setup from the relevant menu in your garage, whether that be ACC, iRacing or LMU. They will all be there, ready and waiting for you to install onto the car so you can leave the pits and begin setting laps, do your qualifying or start your race.

Extra Options for Your iRacing Setups

It’s worth noting that you can also see the iRacing Season Setup Catalogue within the iRacing window itself before you even load into any session. This is super useful to see what combinations you can actually use with Delta for any given week of the iRacing season.

This has been done because our iRacing content changes so much it can be hard to keep up with what we do and do not have in the catalogue. You will likely find something from the most popular series on the platform for Sportier, Formula and Short Ovals, however.

Le Mans Ultimate is A Little Different

Being such a new game, Le Mans Ultimate needs a slightly different approach, although just as easy to access the setups. Now made even simpler with the latest update to the game.

If it is your first time using Delta in Le Mans Ultimate, likely, you have not set up the setup folder directory. You’ll know if you haven’t because Delta will have a pop-up appear instructing you with the process to do this like so:

Once you have done that, go back to your garage and enter the car setup menu, in the preset available section you will see a custom tab, select the custom setup folder:

Now finally, under ‘manage setups’ you will be able to browse all of the setups that will get auto-installed by Delta. If you still see no setups at this stage, hit the refresh list as highlighted below, this should solve that issue and now show all available setups.

You will have a qualifying setup, race setup, and an alternative safer race setup to choose from.
